MOTAT’s School Holiday Experiences are educational and have new themes and activities each time. So there is always loads of things to see and to do, to keep the whole family entertained for hours.
All School Holiday Experiences are included free with normal admission or free with a
MOTAT Mate Annual Pass.

Sound FX Holiday Experience
Experience an exciting explosion of sound with Sound FX at MOTAT this July school holidays!
Sound FX presents a range of interactive activities designed to highlight the role sound plays in our lives.
Kids as well as adults will love joining in “The MOTAT Radio Show”, an interactive play which invites children to create amazing sound effects for this humorous show presented by Phineas Phrog Productions. Sessions at 11am, 1pm and 3pm daily.
Find your way through our popular Tactile Dome (obstacle course) in the dark or experience movies as they once were and create live sound effects to vintage silent movies. Learn how to create the illusion of sound effects on paper or make your very own rain stick in our Make ‘n’ Take activity.
Plus, the Science Roadshow will be here, with interactive activities along with shows daily to excite and inspire young minds.

Holiday Experience activities run 13-28 July and are included with normal MOTAT admission or free with your MOTAT Mates Annual Pass. Family passes (2 adults, 4 children) are available for just $40. MOTAT is open daily 10am-5pm.
