Once you have submitted your application you will be sent a confirmation email and be advised of the next steps. All applications are carefully assessed in relation to the specific requirements of the position you have applied for.
Within one to three weeks of your application we will be in contact to let you know if you have been shortlisted for interview.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to up to two interviews and will get the opportunity to meet several MOTAT Team Members throughout the interview process. At interview, not only do we want to find out as much as we can about you before you join the team, but we also want to give you the opportunity to find out about us. Please make yourself available for up to two hours for any interview you attend at MOTAT.
MOTAT uses a range of employment screening techniques depending on the role you have applied for. Screening is used to assess skills, attitude, and identify other key accomplishments which may not otherwise emerge during an interview; these include:
- Assessment centres;
- Police checks;
- Relevant academic or other professional qualifications.
We will contact you as soon as possible after your interview to let you know whether you've been successful. If you've got the job, you’ll receive all of your employment paperwork via courier within 24 hours and we’ll start getting prepared for your first day at MOTAT.
