Workshop Engineer - Tramways Heritage
We’re seeking a passionate individual with a mechanical and engineering background to join the Tramways Heritage team. Based in the workshop, you’ll work within a small team of staff and volunteers keeping our trams operational all year round. Your hands-on mechanical experience will be put to use when servicing and maintaining trams, while your experience in fitting, turning, milling, and welding are essential for manufacturing tram parts. You’ll work Sunday to Thursday with a requirement to work until 9pm on Tuesdays (when many of our volunteers are at MOTAT)
Health & Safety Coordinator
As a part-time Health & Safety Coordinator at MOTAT, you will provide a high level of support to the team in the coordination and administration of health and safety-related activities and processes across MOTAT’s three sites. We’re looking for someone with a good foundational knowledge in health and safety and great communication skills; someone who understands the value of engaging with the business to support and develop a health and safety culture.
This role would suit someone with a health and safety background looking to take a step up into a coordination role with an interest in working Thursday to Saturday each week. Specific working hours are negotiable for the right person however, we will require you to work a full day on a Saturday.
