Assistant Graphic Designer (Fixed-Term)
MOTAT is looking for a creative individual to join the Marketing & Communications team as an Assistant Graphic Designer. We are absolutely focused on creating a fun, visually stimulating environment for our customers. The role is predominantly technical and would suit someone who is eager to gain work experience by being an integral part of an award-winning marketing department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior graphic designer for a fixed-term of 6 months, part-time (20 hours per week) between Monday and Friday.
Collection Workshops Manager
Reporting to the General Manager - Collections, the Collection Workshops Manager provides operational and project leadership for the management of specialised maintenance, infrastructure management and restoration projects within the Trams, Aviation, Rail, Industrial Heritage and Road Transport sections, including oversight of Telecommunications. We are looking for someone with strong leadership and project management skills, with a minimum of 3-5 years experience working within a heavy engineering environment. Museum or heritage background with experience in maintenance and restoration would be desirable.
This is a full-time role operating from Sunday to Thursday, with flexibility on a Tuesday to work late.
Business Services Administrator (Part-time)
As Business Services Administrator, you'll provide daily administrative support to both the Finance Team and the wider Museum, including data entry and daily cash banking. This part-time role will enable you to free up your afternoons, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 12.30pm. Workshop Engineer - Tramways Heritage
As a Workshop Engineer in our Tramways Heritage section, you'll assist with the repairs, maintenance and upkeep of our MOTAT trams. This full time role requires working a later shift on Tuesdays between 12pm & 9pm. If you're experienced with fitting & turning, have a good knack for problem-solving and enjoy working with a close-knit team, this could be the job for you!
