Visitor Experience Manager
As the Visitor Experience Manager you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of MOTAT programmes and events. You will lead a small team and work collaboratively to deliver innovative experiences and events. We are looking for someone creative and hands on with a minimum of five years experience in Programme development and delivery with strong people management skills.
Steam Operator (Part Time)
We have a part-time (Sunday to Wednesday, 32hrs per week) Steam Operator opportunity available in our Collection Operations Team. This specialist role gives the position-holder a chance to operate and work with some rare heritage steam machines and equipment. Ideal candidates will be physically capable to maintain the coal fires in a 40 Hp boiler while sharing steam technology stories with our visitors.
We're seeking a creative individual with experience in campaign planning, digital marketing and social media management to join our award-winning Marketing & Communications team. In this role you'll be building the profile of MOTAT through both paid and unpaid online and traditional marketing channels and the delivery of key marketing strategies and analysis. Applicants should have a tertiary qualification in marketing, experience working with and managing campaign budgets and strong data analysis, reporting, and time management skills.
Exhibitions Project Manager
As Exhibitions Project Manager you are key to the successful delivery of MOTAT’s diverse and vibrant exhibition programme. With multiple exhibitions in development at any one time, the role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, and within available resources. To be successful in this role you will need a minimum five years project delivery experience ideally in a museum or gallery environment.
As a Cleaner at MOTAT, you will be part of the team that keeps our museum well-presented for our visitors. You will bring your cleaning experience to an unique environment, ensuring the cleanliness of our facilities and surroundings to a high-standard.
Maintenance Team Member
As Maintenance Team Member you will be part of the team working hard to ensure MOTAT is looking it's best for all who come through our gates. Providing general maintenance to buildings and across the site, you will have demonstrated experience from similar roles elsewhere. Full driver's licence required and forklift licence desirable.
Tram Cleaner (Part-Time)
We’re seeking a cleaning professional to bring their enthusiasm towards cleanliness to MOTAT. Our tramway operates on a daily timetable between MOTAT’s two sites providing a unique travel experience for our visitors. An iconic part of the museum’s collection, the presentation quality of our trams to the public is paramount. Therefore, practical experience cleaning vehicles and a demonstrated high-level of care is essential.
