At The Mind Lab, we’re as passionate about continuous learning for teachers as we are about introducing kids to purposeful digital tech, so for a limited time we’re offering free PD for teachers. We’ll tailor the PD session to your school. It can be on a specific tool/topic or a full exploration into contemporary ways of teaching.

Teachers, help create digitally capable learners. Your class can experience cutting-edge, hands-on science, tech and discovery learning with The Mind Lab.

These future-focused learning experiences support the development of the next generation of makers, doers, inventors and creators — the ones who’ll be reshaping the world with new ways of working, thinking and living.

Our school group sessions are generally investigative, open-ended and multidisciplinary with an aim to enhance digital fluency. Sessions link to the New Zealand National Curriculum by building on the digital learning skills and key competencies outlined in the Digital Curriculum | Hangarau Matihiko.

How Does it Work?

Bookings can be made for up to 60 students per half-day session. For half-day sessions, select up to 2 topics from the list. For full-day sessions, select up to 4 topics.

LIMITED OFFER

We know that cost is a huge limiting factor in the decision to organise an LEOTC experience for your students, so we have created two special offers to help lower the cost for your school visit.

2) $250 subsidy for bus travel:
To qualify for this great subsidy you must be a decile 1-5 school and you must bring a minimum of 100 children on a single trip. There are a LIMITED NUMBER of subsidies available. Terms and conditions apply.

Schools are limited to one subsidy per school per year and not in conjunction with any other free offers.
