Good Old Days
From the roaring 20s, fabulous 40s or the swinging 60s, each era from the 1900s to the 1980s will be brought to life with live music, food offerings and guided tours highlighting objects from the MOTAT collection. Taking place on the first Wednesday of each month*, it’s everything you need to be transported back to the good old days.
Specifically catered for our senior visitors, each Good Old Days is designed to celebrate New Zealand’s young history. Wheelchair accessible guided tours are available and visitors can enjoy a range of entertainment and activities. Light snacks and refreshments will be available at the MOTAT café with a special combo for SuperGold Card holders during the event. The event takes place from 10am until 2pm and each month focuses on a different decade.
