About this object
35 strips of light brown wood joined together at one end with a black bolt. These strips of wood taper to a point. The top half of the wood is covered by thin white paper that folds as the fan is closed. The front of the fan is decorated by large leaves in green and beige, and flowers in white, green and beige. "TEAL" appears in the centre on a green background. The TEAL logo of a stylised bird appears to the right and left of "TEAL". It is also white on a green background. The back of the fan is undecorated although some designs can be seen through the paper.
