Help MOTAT give back with Good in the Hood

Help MOTAT give back to the community with Z’s ‘Good in the Hood’ campaign running throughout May. The Museum is delighted to have been selected by Point Chevalier and Sylvia Park Z Stations as a recipient and participating organisation of this fantastic initiative.

Each vote for MOTAT goes towards funding bus subsidies for low decile schools to assist with transportation costs when visiting the Museum for an education proramme. The amount of money the Museum receives is dependent on the number of votes cast by you. Each bus subsidy is $250, so please consider voting for MOTAT next time you fill up at Point Chevalier or Sylvia Park Z stations.

MOTAT supports local community and aspires to be accessible to all. The Museum works to achieve this goal by supporting local community and children with transport subsidies for low decile (1-5) schools. These subsidies allow greater opportunities for students to participate in the education programmes run by MOTAT. Supporting these children will ensure we are ‘encouraging students to reach their potential as lifelong learners and critical, active, informed, and responsible citizens’. Education programmes at MOTAT support young minds learning in a creative and interactive way.

Help MOTAT support Auckland schools to ensure young kiwi learners have access to the Museum’s resources, and learn about NZ's heritage, Kiwi ingenuity, transport, and technology as we work to educate and inspire the innovators of tomorrow
