From the 27 May discover the secrets of the sun in a fun, hands-on science exhibition for all ages.

Sunlight – Ihi Kōmaru brings new life to the story of sunlight, through interactive games, challenges and dynamic multimedia. It shows how light has shaped the world around us.
Presented in both English and Te Reo Māori, this exhibition explains how sunlight is created, how fast light travels, how it behaves and reacts to various mediums, and how light influences life and culture – amongst other fascinating ideas and information.

This significant science-based exhibition is supported by Professor Sir Peter Gluckman, the Prime Minister’s Chief Science Advisor.
