How has daily life in New Zealand changed? This workshop will encourage students to appreciate modern conveniences and discuss how and why domestic technology has changed.
Hands-on
The programme offers an interactive exploration of historical technology and innovation in the home; students experience doing the washing, using the irons and dressing in Victorian costume.
Plus
The Adult-led Group Trail enables students to explore the Victorian Village and 1920's shops, imagining what life might have been like in early Auckland.
