Jean Batten (198 kb). Jean Batten was New Zealand's most famous female aviator of the 1930s and had a huge impact on aviation across the world.

Sir Keith Park (364kb). Sir Keith Park is one of New Zealand's greatest and most overlooked leaders. His tactics and management proved instrumental to victory during the Battle of Britain during World War II.

Western Spring Pumphouse (399 kb). When Western Springs Pumphouse was constrcuted it was the only constant water supply in Auckland. Now it is at the core of MOTAT's collection and the reason that MOTAT was located here.

Richard Pearse (219 kb). Richard Pearse was a New Zealand inventor and pioneer aviator. He was one of the first people in the world to build and fly an aeroplane.

The Walsh Brothers (1.65mb). Leo and Vivian Walsh lay the foundations for military and civil aviation in New Zealand.
