female aviator of the 1930s and had a huge impact on aviation across the

greatest and most overlooked leaders. His tactics and management proved
instrumental to victory during the Battle of Britain during World War

Western Spring Pumphouse

When Western Springs
Pumphouse was constrcuted it was the only constant water supply in
Auckland. Now it is at the core of MOTAT's collection and the reason
that MOTAT was located here. |

Richard Pearse was a
New Zealand inventor and pioneer aviator. He was one of the first people
in the world to build and fly an aeroplane.
